Introductory Course to English Phonics & Sounds


Service Description

This weekly class teaches students how to listen and produce American English sounds. English is a very confusing and inconsistent language. For instance the following words are spelled similarly but the vowel sounds different; Bought, Through, Though, Tough, Bough. This class will introduce you to all the English Sounds and compare them to the Alphabet so students will have an idea of what they are hearing and how it is spelled, or what they are reading and how it might be pronounced. This is a methodical course aimed at young adults and older adults English as a Foreign Language Learners.
