Michael Thế Khôi Trần is a Vietnamese American artist based in Southern California. His work is rooted in his experience growing up in and around Little Saigon, where everyday practices like gardening, reuse, and making do with what is available have shaped his perspective and art practice.
Exhibition Description
His work reflects on Vietnamese identity, memory, and mental health, focusing on how car is expressed through routine and quiet acts of. tending. Through this lens, he explores how displacement and history continue to shape the way people recreate a sense of home.
