Brian Leong

Born and raised in Alhambra Ca. Brian has been making art since 2005 but hadn’t taken it seriously until 2017. His art style is a visual representation of his experience in life and in his mind. Whether it be making beats, traveling, having conversations with random people or sometimes dreams and trips he once had. The photos he uses are from photographers hes built deep connections with over the years that see his vision without even knowing about it. It’s also a great way to meditate, figure out life, relationships, and sometimes get lost. But at the end of the day the greatest part about art is every one can have an opinion whether it is good or bad.

Exhibition Description

This collection of mixed media art stands out for it's consistency in format, yet unique in its composition. Using Black and White Photography, a collage style of composition, sparse use of colors and filters, and the levels provided in different shaped wood and different fabrics, Brian finds he can manipulate perspective and create commentary on how the world can be seen. Many of the pieces featuring faces and exploring identity, it is a poignant representation on how one can view beauty in the world and the people in it.
