Anya Lin Pertel is an artist from Santa Monica, CA. Her work explores the relationship between humans and the non-human world around them--in particular, their dogs. She is interested in the ways in which dogs can serve to expand their owners' perception and knowledge of the world of around them. Pertel studied Art and Humanities at Yale University and currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
