Spring Artist Reception 2026

We are excited to showcase the works of our incoming artists for Spring 2025.

Kay Wheeler, a multidisciplinary artist whose work blends painting, drawing, and mixed media to explore self-trust, mental resilience, and Black futurism. Using bold color, symbolic text, and intuitive mark-making, their practice treats the canvas as a site of affirmation and inquiry. Rooted in personal healing and collective memory, Kay’s work balances playfulness with urgency, offering art as both mirror and medicine.

Antonio Denai Toussaint, an artist from Atlanta, Georgia who loves to explore a vast variety of art forms. They feel most grounded in creating art that pierces with a strong emotional balance and sensitivity. Growing up in a family of visual artist such as his mother and grandmother, this gave him the space to explore my artistic expression from a young age.
