AAPI Voices in Art

DOMA Arts Complex, in collaboration with AJSOCAL, are excited to bring you this exhibition: AAPI voices in Art. This collective of artists range all types of mediums, from photography and sculpture to paintings and intricate scrolls. The stories that will be told bring to life intimate moments, social justice movements, and the value of exploring oneself and one’s history.

Featured Artists: Lili Miura. I am a multi-disciplinary artist. My artwork is inspired by a multitude of human emotions, resilience, and courage in times of hardship —a viewpoint from a multicultural perspective on social and cultural concerns. I often paint figurative art as a focal point, where metaphoric symbolism and expressive sensuality are juxtaposed with subtle messages in the background.
